He was born in the state of Entre Ríos on August 22, but his life was completely spent in Buenos Aires.

His first steps in music -from very early on- were performing folklore… Because folklore was the music heard by his family, in his house,  included tango.

His first formation was in (tno) but soon after it dissolved, he participated in some stage in an amateur way.

After a while he dedicate himself only in tango, which was what he most liked to sing.

He graduated with singing teachers from the Teatro Colón. Among them the renowned singer Roberto Yanes, who in addition to singing classes taught Carlos how to develop himself in the scenery, repertoire and vocalization.

Roberto invited Carlos several times to sing in his shows.

His artistic godfather is Roberto Rufino, who introduced Carlos in many tango houses, and invited in his performances for over 10 years.

Between 1993-1995 he made several performances in Santiago de Chile.

Throughout the year ’95, he made a large tour in Spain, performing at the emblematic Viejo Almacén in Madrid.

In 1996 he began performing in several renowned houses in San Telmo, Bar Sur, A Media Luz, María, Tango Sur and others.

At the same time he performed with different artists in restaurants, development companies and concert halls, many of these places existed when the Panamericana street was still very narrow, such as the Airport, El Gran Chaparral, Hanclar, El Candil, Pingo Viejo, located in the San Isidro neighborhood.

In 1998, he made numerous presentations in Greater Buenos Aires and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Presentations in TV programs in Crónica TV (Saturdays of Tango).  Presentations in Solo Tango channel, in Northern Zone cable channels. In summer seasons in Mar del Plata, Casa Charly de Walter Berón, sharing shows with Jorge Valdez, Roberto Rufino and others. Shows in Santa Teresita, both on TV and in restaurants.

In 2000 the Buenos Aires Canta cycle began, where Carlos Poisa performed with a large cast and musical accompaniment with the stable trio. From now on he performs at private parties and clubs: El Tábano, Viento Norte, Apolo and Sunderlang.

In 2019, he performs on TV on several channels: Canal 26, Carlos Giachetti’s Folklorísimo program and Argentinisima Satelital.

He was received some awars for this trajectory, Festival 6 continentes in San Rafael, Mendoza. Coronacion de Oro La Docta award.





In 2020, He traveled to São Paulo -Brazil- to received some awards for this trajectory: Iberoamerican Prize El Nevado Solidario de Oro, acting in the Chamber of São Paulo and in the Teatro Olido in São Paulo, culminating his tour by visiting Tekoi Indigenous Village, with solidarity purposes.
